Antoinette "Toni" D'Isabella passed away at home on Monday, July 1, 2013. She was born in Maltignano, Italy on October 18, 1934. She immigrated to the US in 1947 traveling by ship with her sister, Linda, and her mother, Maria Odorisi. There they joined her father, Ruggero, who had already settled in Camden, NJ. She attended Our Lady of Mt. Carmel School and graduated from business school there. She was a typist for Hartford Steam Boiler in Philadelphia. Eventually her family moved to Lancaster.

On a vacation to Italy to visit her sister, Adelia, she reconnected with Giuseppe "Joe" D'Isabella whom she knew growing up. Joe and Toni had a short engagement and were married on September 14, 1959. They were happily married for 53 years and had 3 children.

Toni lived her life fully. Faith, family, and food were three major components of her life. She was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church. She was very devout with her litany of prayers. She loved cooking and sharing food with her family and friends. Her favorites included cannoli, homemade pasta, and rum cake.

She is survived by her husband, Joe D'Isabella and her children, Theresa Paula Paine, married to Michael of Lancaster; Joseph Camillo D'Isabella married to Linda of Oxford; and Maria Pierina D'Isabella of Lancaster. Toni cherished her grandchildren: Julian and Nathan Paine and Sophia and Joey D'Isabella. She is also survived by her sister, Linda DeLeo, married to Alfred of Lancaster and her sister, Adelia D'Isabella of Maltignano, Italy. She loved her many nieces, nephews, and her extended family. She also considered her co-workers at Rohrer's Hardware, her teammates from her bocce team, the Bocce Babes, and members of the Lancaster Italian Cultural Society as part of her family.

Her family wishes to thank all who supported her on her final journey. Special thanks to Dr. Conter, Stacy Wenzel, Dr. Kane, doctors, nurses and staff at Lancaster Regional Medical Center, Lancaster Cancer Center, and Hospice and Community Care.

A Mass of Christian Burial celebrating her life will be at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, 558 W. Walnut St, Lancaster, PA on Saturday, July 6, 2013 at 10:30AM with Rev. Michael J. Culkin as Celebrant. The family will receive guests from 9-10:30AM at the church on Saturday. Interment in St. Joseph's New Catholic Cemetery in Bausman, PA.
