Albert George "Al" Dillon Sr., 52, Mohnton, came into our lives Nov. 10, 1955, and joined our Lord on Aug. 17, 2008. He was a son of the Late Paul H. and Tina (Lasorsa) Dillon. Al left us with a legacy founded on love and respect for fellow men and for our environment. He was dedicated to preserving the tenets and values that make this country and our world a better place to live in. Al found friends everywhere he went. He was an avid hunter, fisherman and strong advocate for the environment for which we live. He was a lifelong and dedicated member of the Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission, where he spent tireless hours of volunteer work in helping to protect our common interests and ensure that they were preserved for our children and their children. Al was the tallest aspen in the forest, spreading his good will but stalwart in his beliefs, and committed to a better life for his family and his friends. He will be missed by all of us. Al is survived by his loving anc caring wife, and his brave son. Together they represented a nucleus of love, affection and caring foe everyone who entered their lives. Al is also survived by a sister, and a brother. Services will be Wednesday at 10 a.m., in the Bean Funeral Home, 3825 Penn Ave., Sinking Spring, with the Rev. Richard H. Clement officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant View Cemetery.
