At an early age, he united with Mt. Moriah Missionary Baptist Church.
He graduated from Ethel High School and also attended Holmes Community College.
He was presently employed at Wal-Mart in Kosciusko, MS.
He was preceded in death by three of his grandparents, Fred L. McAdory, Eartha Simmons McAdory, and John L. Barksdale; two uncles, Dennis McAdory, and Dannie E. Barksdale.
He was better known by his middle name "Kahyra" and his aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He departed this life on Tuesday, November 10th.
William leaves to cherish his memories a loving father and mother, Johnny and Bobbie Barksdale of Kosciusko, MS; one son, Kentravion Coffee of Kosciusko, MS; two sisters, Tomeka Barksdale of Byhalia, MS; and Kaethra Barksdale of Kosciusko, MS; one nephew, Ervin Alexander Woods of Byhalia, MS. He has eight aunts, four great aunts, ten uncles, four great uncles, and a host of cousins and friends.
