Jane Rose Dorneman, 80, State College, died Monday, January 3, 2005 at her residence. Born on January 27, 1924 in Canandaigua, Ontario County, NY, she was the daughter of the late Earl W. and Lillian Jopson Stanley. She married Donald R. Dorneman on July 9, 1949, who died on November 4, 1995. She was a graduate of Canandaigua Academy and received her Bachelor's degree in Education from Cortland State College, Cortland, NY. She worked as a clerk in the Periodical Department at Pattee Library at Penn State University retiring in 1986. For three years, she previously was a school teacher at Endwell Elementary School in Endwell, NY. She was a member of the Grace Lutheran Church and the State College Elks Ladies Golf Association. She is survived by three sons, Jerry N. Dorneman of Milton, DE, Michael R. Dorneman and his wife Karen of Yardley, PA, and Stephen H. Dorneman and his wife Penny of Boston, MA; a brother, Burton Stanley and his wife Doris of Potsdam, NY; two grandchildren, Michael Dorneman and Tracey Jean Keller; and two great grandchildren Hudson Keller and Derrickson Keller.
