Mrs. Edna V. Hatchell Wickens, 64, of 1115 Perry St. died Thursday at 9:45 a.m. in a Norfolk hospital after illness of one week.

She was a native of Mecklenburg County and had lived in South Norfolk the last 45 years. She was a daughter of James and Mrs. Sarah Phillips Hatchell, and wife of the late Frederick C. Wickens.
