She was a graduate of Bellows Falls High School, Class of 1933. She worked as a milling machine operator at Keil Lock Company in Charlestown for twenty-six years. She attended Charlestown Methodist Church.
She married Michael Smith but he preceded her in death. (This is likely an error as Roy Bernard Smith's death record indicates she was married to him at the time of his death. They would have married about 1935.)
She married Jesse Horace Bacon on September 2, 1944 in Orford, NH but he also preceded her in death in 1949.
She married Rene Roy in 1981 in Charlestown, NH who preceded her in death on February 15, 1995.
She was preceded in death by son Bernard R Smith who died in 1993, and brother Donald Abbey who died September 24, 1999 who's funeral she was attending when she became ill.
She is survived by daughter Gloria Hunt of Claremont; two stepsons David Bacon of Charlestown and Jesse Bacon Jr of Alstead, NH; six grandchildren; two great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; eleven stepgrandchildren; sister Arlene Beaudry of Claremont; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Burial will be in Pine Crest Cemetery in Charlestown.
