Barbara L. Beall, 80, of McAlester, OK., died Thursday, July 7, 2005, at a local nursing center.

Rosary will be at 7PM this evening with Dosie Grego as the Celebrant at Bishop Chapel of Memories.

Funeral services will be at 10AM Monday at St.John's Catholic Church with Father Leonard Higgins officating. Burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery under the direction of Bishop Funeral Service.

Honorary pallbearers include David Williams and Ricky Compton.

Born August 18, 1924, in Paden, OK., to Clive C. and Effie Kelley Williams. She moved as a young child to the McAlester area where she attended Richville Schools and later attended Hartshorne High School.

She worked as a waitress for numerous restaurants in the McAlester area for over 40 years.

She was a member of St. John's Catholic Church where she was a member of the Ladies Guild.

Survivors include a daughter, Sue Tillman, of McAlester, OK.; a brother and sister-in-law, J.C. and LaWanda Williams, of McAlester; two nieces and spouses, Cathy and Rick Compton, of Scipio, OK., Janet and Sherman Cooper, of McAlester; a nephew and spouse, David and Pam Williams, of Eufaula, OK.

Also, six great-nieces, Ashley Compton and fiancee, Stony Green, Hilary Compton and fiancee, Nathan Steele, Rachael Davenport and fiancee, Adam Waldrop, Kristin Williams, Katelynn and Payton Cooper.

And two great-nephews, Matthew Davenport, Justin Williams and fiancee, Starla Guthrie, and her caregiver, Joyce Duran, of McAlester.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Clive and Effie Williams and two infant brothers.
