Paul M. (Paulus) Bauer married Mary (Anna Maria) Mullauer on Nov. 21, 1854, in Austria. He was 24 years old, baptized November 14, 1830. Their wedding took place on November 21, 1854. They had 12 children, 6 died in Austria in infancy. The rest immigrated with Paul and Anna Marie arrived May 28, 1872, in America, landing in New York Port on the ship North Germany. Lloyd SS Hanover, leaving from Bremen, Germany. The baby was Frank F Bauer and was 2 years old. Paul and Anna Marie were catholic and occupation was farmer. Paul's father, Johann was also a farmer. After traveling to the township of Lima, Wisconsin, Paul and Mary purchased a 120 acres dairy from John Hodgdm. Here they lived and raised their family. Both Paul and Anna Marie are buried at Holy Rosary Cemetery at Lima, Durand, Wisconsin. (Family Search: danzing March 13th, 2009).
