He was born on November 24, 1918, at Gerald, the son of Oscar Lefmann and wife Annetta, nee Keller.
He received his early education at the Gerald public school and later graduated from Washington High School in the Class of 1936.
Mr. Lefmann was married on June 29, 1947, to Marian Pfautsch at the St. Peter's UCC in Washington.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and one brother, Barney Lefmann.
His wife and his daughter, Wendy Williams of Highland Ranch, Colorado, survive him. He is also survived by one
brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Lloyd and Edie Pfautsch, Dallas, Texas; one sister-in-law, Helen Pfautsch, Sullivan;
one sister-in-law, Donnio Lefmann, Springfield, Mo.; nieces; nephews; other relatives and many friends.
Mr. Lefmann served his country during World War II in the Navy as a hydraulic specialist for airplanes.
He was a 55-year member of the VFW, was active in his church, and spent many years as a member of the St. John's
Mercy Hospital Advisory Board.
Funeral services for Mr. Lefmann were held September 16, at St. Peter's United Church of Christ with Rev. William H.
Schwab officiating.
Interment followed in the church cemetery.
Memorials to the St. Peter's Church Building Fund or the St. Peter's Church Piano Fund are preferred.
