Word was received here yesterday of the death of Henry H. Nye, which occurred in Los Angeles Wednesday. Mr. Nye will be remembered by a great many Omaha people, he having resided here for a number of years, having been employed as a stenographer in various departments of the Union Pacific, among them being the chief engineer's office and general claim department. He had been an invalid for a number of years and left Omaha about three years ago for Los Angeles in the hope that the change might enable him to regain his health.
