He was born November 8, 1910, at St. Louis, the son of William J. Verdine and wife Nora, nee Craig.
On June 26, 1933, he was united in marriage to Mildred Bracht at South Bend, Indiana.
Mr. Verdine was a member of St. Peter's United Church of Christ, Washington Elks Lodge, and Teamsters Local 688.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one daughter, Jean Paul; one grandson, Jonathan Paul; one sister, Rose
McConnell; one half sister, Irene Childers; one brother, John Verdine; and one half brother, George Miller.
Mr. Verdine is survived by his wife, Mildred Verdine, Washington; one son, Bill Verdine and wife Judy, Washington; one daughter, Judy Scannell and husband Jim, Washington; one half sister, Marjorie Palmer, Cuba, Mo.; 13
grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services for Mr. Verdine were held Thursday, December 6, at St. Peter's United Church of Christ, Washington, with Rev. William Schwab officiating. Interment was in the church cemetery.
Memorials to St. Peter's United Church of Christ are preferred.
