Mary M. Stevenson, 93, of Ravenswood, departed this world on January 20, 2011 at Ravenswood Care Center.
Mary was born December 3, 1917, the daughter of John Wesley Moore and Hattie Susan McGhee Moore. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Ravenswood; a charter member at Greenhills Country Club; a member of Junior Women's Club of America; a volunteer at Jackson General Hospital for many years; and the former owner of St. Albans Flower Shop.
Surviving are her daughter, Diane (Don) Bourdon of Edwardsburg, MI; sons, Dr. James M. Stevenson of Morgantown; J. Michael (Page) Stevenson of Pritchard; Jeffrey W. (Belinda) Stevenson of Charlotte, NC; grandchildren, Robb Bourdon, Doug Bourdon, Julie Kolbe, Suzanna Bennett, Mary Lewis, J.W. Stevenson, Brittani Stender; great grandchildren Collin, Chloe, Jake, Zane, Ryder, Savanna, Lily; along with several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Arthur Stevenson; three brothers; and three sisters.
Her funeral service was held on Sunday, Jan 23, at First Baptist Church in Ravenswood, with Pastor Anthony Pratt officiating.
