BLUE, Willis

Uncle Willis Blue, and old pioneer, died Friday about 3 o'clock and was buried Saturday afternoon at the Lingo Cemetery, about 3 miles south of Lingo. Mr. Blue was born in Kentucky in 1818, and moved to Missouri while quite young. The family have the sympathy of the community in their bereavement. (contributor Dorothy B)

Willis F Blue/Blew was the son of Pvt. Richard S and Rebeckah Holeman Blew.

On the 31 of December in 1843, he married Margaret Lucinda Lingo in Randolph County, Missouri, USA.
