Dorothy Coker, 71, of Bay City, died April 8, 2002 at Bay Villa Nursing Home. She was born March 5, 1931 in Wills Point, Texas to the late Earl Jessie and Valley Inez Railey Teeler. Mrs. Coker was a Baptist and a life long resident of Bay City.
Survivors include: daughter, Mary Ann Kotlar; son, David Coker; sister, Josie Louise Reese all of Bay City; brother, Sherman Lee Teeler of Van Vleck; two grandchildren, Laurie Ann Kotlar and David Don Coker both of Bay City. She was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Lee Teeler.
Graveside funeral service will be 2 p.m. Thursday, April 11, 2002 at Cedarvale Cemetery with the Rev. Marvin Moore officiating.
