The Commercial Appeal, Memphis, Tennessee, Saturday, September 1, 1984, Page 19: Mrs. Dale Apperson Kerr of 198 South McLean, Apt. 7, wife of Leroy E. Kerr, died at 9:10 a.m. yesterday at Methodist Hospital. Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. today in Memorial Park. Memorial Park Funeral Home has charge.
Mrs. Kerr was a communicant of St. John's Episcopal Church, whee she was past chairman of the Altar Guild. She was a member of the Margaret Batome Circle of the King's Daughters and Sons and Junior League of Memphis, and a past president of Les Passes. She also leaves a daughter, Mrs. Cecil Pigford Jr., and a brother, John W. Apperson, both of Memphis and three grandchildren. The family requests that any memorials be sent to the charity of the donor's choice.
