Mrs. Hilley was born in Royston, GA on June 27, 1924, daughter of the late Charles Pilgrim and the late Lou Wednesday Franklin Pilgrim. She was an assembly worker having worked with Tenneco and was a member of the Bible Baptist Church. Mrs. Pilgrim was preceded in death by her husband, George Edgar "Jack" Hilley.
Survivors include her children, Buddy Hilley of Royston, GA, Virgil Hilley of the Goldmine Community, Jeff Hilley of Canon, GA, Dot Snow of Columbus, GA and Linda Jackson of Martin, GA; seven grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Hilley was preceded in death by her three brothers and one sister.
Funeral services for Mrs. Hilley will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, July 05, 2013, at the Pruitt Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Dan Bailey, Rev. Johnny Stowe and Rev. Fred Greenway officiating. Burial will follow in the Rose Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Pruitt Funeral Home from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Thursday evening
