REHOBETH - Allen Herman Adams, 70, died in Peninsula General Hospital following a lingering illness.
Born in Rehobeth, he was a son of the late Stephen and Annie Adams. He was the husband of the late Mrs. Lillian H. Adams, who died in December 1958.
He was a retired contractor and builder. He was a member of the Rehoboth Presbyterian Church and a former church trustee.
Mr. Adams is survived by two nephews and three nieces.
Funeral services will be conducted tomorrow at 3 p.m. from the Dennis and Watson Funeral Home in Pocomoke City by the Rev. Amos King, pastor of the Holly Grove Mennonite Church, assisted by the Rev. C. C. Nanny, pastor of the Rehobeth Baptist Church. Interment will be in the Rehoboth Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home this evening from 7 to 9 o'clock.
