JUNIOR SANDERSON
BRILLIANT - Junior Sanderson, 71, Brilliant, died on Friday, November 6, 1998, in the Marion Baptist Medical Center in Hamilton. He was born on February 22, 1927, in Marion County, the son of John G. and Vestie Myhand Sanderson. He was a member of the United Methodist Church, Lions Club, American Legion and V.F.W. He was a Mason and a Shriner.
He was preceded in death by two sons - George Sanderson, Jr. and Danny Sanderson.
Funeral services were held on Sunday, November 8, 1998, at 2 p.m. from the Randy Lawrence Memorial Chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home in Winfield with burial in the Brilliant Memorial Gardens. Bro. Ray Bozeman and Bro. Mike Carver were the officiating ministers.
Pallbearers were Jason South, Stephen South, Brian South, Wesley Jones, Heath Sanderson, Timmy Weeks and Jeff Spann.
Survivors include his wife - Geneva Sanderson, Brilliant; sons - Bobby (Doris) Sanderson, Brilliant, Greg Sanderson, Winfield, and Charles Mills, St. Louis, MO.; daughters - Amelia (Greg) Hamric, Winfield, and Becky Jones, Brilliant; brother - Foy Sanderson, Hamilton; sister - Yvonne Sanderson, Hamilton; 14 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Lawrence Funeral Home of Winfield directed the services.
