IVANHOE- Graveside service for Billy James Adair, age 79 of Ivanhoe, will be at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, July 9, 2013, at Arledge Ridge Cemetery. Billy passed away Saturday, July 06, 2013, at Red River Regional Hospital in Bonham.
Billy was born September 21, 1933 to Johnny Lee and Ola Bell (Wilson) Adair in Fannin County. He married Margaret Bagby on February 28, 1955 in Bailey, TX, and was a farmer and rancher for many years.
Billy is survived by his wife; Margaret of the home, son; James Randy Adair and wife Lisa of Carson Community, TX, daughters; Debra Shores and husband Jerry of Bonham, and Karen Kay Penson and husband Joe of Rattan, Oklahoma, grandchildren; Kevin Crank, Kelsey Bohannon and husband Scott, and Brittany Wiessert, sister; Lorell Russell of Ivanhoe, and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents.
The family will receive friends on Monday, July 8, 2013, from 7-8 PM at Cooper-Sorrells Funeral Home in Bonham.
