Anne Sophie (Windemuth) Krach went home to be with her Lord on Sunday, July 7, 2013, after a three month battle with cancer. She was married to The Rev. Harold F. Krach on January 27, 1945, and he predeceased her on May 4, 2002. Anne is survived by her four children and their spouses: Rick (Maywan) Krach of Auburn, CA; Gloria (Gary) Ruffini of Ludington, MI; Rhoda (Jim) Fleming of Grand Blanc, MI; and Debra (William) Snyder of Saginaw; her 10 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Her beloved sister, Mrs. Leona Meteer, predeceased her in 2011. Anne was born to German immigrants, the late David and Ada (Rupple) Windemuth in Detroit, on Oct. 7, 1925. After her marriage in 1945, they spent a few short years in Miami, Florida and Petoskey, Michigan before coming to Saginaw in 1952. She loved Holy Cross Lutheran Church and was a large part of all church activities, especially the Ladies Guild, singing in the choir, and teaching Sunday School. She also worked for J. L. Hudson's for several years. She then spent many years of retirement with her beloved husband in Florida. Anne loved her family and dear friends and was an avid Detroit Tiger fan.

The celebration of Anne's life will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, July 9, 2013, at Holy Cross Ev. Lutheran Church, 600 Court St., Saginaw. The Rev. James F. Krueger will officiate with burial in Holy Cross Lutheran Cemetery. Friends are welcome to visit with the family between 12:00 Noon and 2:00 p.m. before the service. Memorials may be given to Holy Cross Lutheran Church, the Saginaw Advocacy for Individuals with Disabilities (S.A.I.D.), or United Cerebral Palsy of Michigan.
