He was a U.S. Army Veteran of World War II. He was a longtime member of St. Ann R.C. Church where he also served as an usher. He retired from the American Meter Co in 1978 after over 45 years service. He enjoyed bowling and fishing.
He was preceded in death by his wife Irene Koper and five brothers, Zygmunt, John, Ed, Larry and Carl Koper.
He is survived by his son Daniel Koper and his wife Margaret, a dear friend Shirley Wolf and a sister Jane Ozimek and her husband Lawrence all of Erie. Many nieces and nephews also survive.
