Mrs. Addie M. Barnett died suddenly of heart failure Tuesday night at 7:15 at her home. The body will be sent to Eufaula, Ala., the girlhood home for interment.
Mrs. Barnett returned home Sunday from a visit to summer resorts in Virginia and was enjoying the best of health. Her death is a shock to her many friends.

Son: J. Mercer Barnett
Two Daughters: Mrs. Charles A. Calhoun and Miss Emmie Barnett
She was a sister-in-law of the Rev. Frank Willis Barnett and Sam T. Barnett of the Barnett-Shepherd Lumber Company.

Addie Mercer Barnett was daughter of James W. and Anna Goode Mercer of Georgia. She was the wife of William Augustus Barnett who was a merchant in Eufaula Alabama. After the death of her husband in 1888, she moved to Washington, D.C. and moved back to Eufaula in 1901.
