She was named after her grandmother, Lucy Ann T. Smith Robertson. As of 2011 I haven't found out what that "T" stood for in either of their names, but would give the world to know....
Lucy was a seamstress and sometimes worked at her husbands' sewing machine & repair shop in Leaksville.
They lived in the Leaksville area of Eden, NC on South Hamilton Street in Rockingham County.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church.
===
Do not stand at my grave and weep. I am not there. I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that swiftly blow. I am the diamond glint on newly fallen snow. I am the sunlight on ripened grain. I am the soft and gentle autumn rain.
When you wake from sleep in the early morning hush, I am the swift, uplifting rush of quiet birds in circling flight.
I am the soft, starlight at night.
Do not stand at my grave and weep. I am not there. I do not sleep.

Found out today that the T in her name probably stood for Thomas. No proof yet though. (29 July 2013)
