Rosemary Zecco, 68, of Fairmont, died, Monday, July 8, 2013 at 7:45PM following an extended illness. She was born May 16, 1945 in Fairmont, the daughter of the late Charlie Edward Jones and Zelma Stark Jones. She was preceded in death by her husband Frank Zecco whom she married December 12, 1961. She is survived by one daughter; Jean Williams and husband Jimmy of Fairmont; one son; Frank Zecco of Lumberport. She also leaves behind three grandsons; Josh, Matt and Zach Williams all of Fairmont; two sisters; Linda Weaver and husband John of Shinnston and Deloris Shears of Fairmont and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Zecco was a retiree from WVU College of Law, and she attended Calvary Baptist Church in Mannington. Family and friends will be received at Dorsey Funeral Home, 701 S. Pike Street, Shinnston, from 2:00-8:00PM Thursday, where services will be held at 11:00AM Friday, July 12, 2013 with the Pastor Lee Bowman officiating. Interment will follow in the Lumberport Lions Club Cemetery.
