W/O Hugh Finley Blakemore, s/o Thomas Johnson Blakemore and Emeline Rutherford Blakemore.
Issue: Minnie, Myrtle, Thomas Johnson, Shelby, James, Olen, Beatrice and Jack. She lived in the western part of Ark. and moved to Liberal, Kansas.

Cora Isabelle HODGES, daughter of J. C. and Rhodina HODGES, was born April 10th, 1870, in Fairfield, Illinois. She died September 26th, 1933 in Liberal, Kansas, aged 63 years, 5 months and 16 days. She moved with her parents to Prairie Grove, Arkansas, in 1882. On March 21st, 1886, was married to Mr. H. F. BLAKEMORE. To this union were born nine children. Five boys and four girls. Two girls preceded her in death, one in infancy, the other aged 15 years.

Those living are as follows: Mrs. Minnie Ethel HAMMON, Perryton, Texas; Thomas J. BLAKEMORE, Liberal, Kansas; Shelby BLAKEMORE, Haswell, Colorado; James A. BLAKEMORE, Olan HODGES BLAKEMORE, Mrs. Joe PITTMAN, and Jack BLAKEMORE, of Liberal.

Mrs. BLAKEMORE was converted at the age of 15 years, and united with the Cumberland Presbyterian church. She was a devout Christian, faithful and loyal to the Master and her church, a loving wife, mother, neighbor and friend. Besides the husband and children she leaves to mourn her departure, two brothers and two sisters, W. S. HODGES, Lubbock, Texas; Mrs. Emma REED, Denver, Colorado, and Gilbert HODGES, Forgan, Oklahoma; and Mrs. D. O. DOUGHTY, Kansas City, Missouri, and eight grand children and a host of friends, who cherish her memory.

Mr. and Mrs. BLAKEMORE spent the greater part of their married life in Arkansas, having lived in Liberal about three years, recently returning to Liberal. Mrs. BLAKEMORE's health failed, and the Master called her home.

All the children were present at the last rites and a large crowd was gathered at the First Baptist church, where Rev. J. F. Curtis conducted the funeral services
