Ernest Disbennett
Alexandria - Ernest Disbennett, 814 W. Washington St., died Friday at Community Hospital. He was 80.
He had retired 15 years ago from National Gypsum and had served with the U.S. Army in World War I and was a member of the American Legion and the Eagles Lodge.
Surviving with the widow Lula are three children, Rex Disbennett, Tampa, Fla.; Mrs Freda Lewis, Elwood; and Mrs. Evadyne Moorman, Marion; four stepsons, Lee Todd, Anderson; Jerry Todd, Rushville; George Todd, Norfolk, VA; and Lou Todd, Tampa, Fla.; 24 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren.
Friends may call after 7 p.m. Sunday at the Nuffze Funeral Home.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Sam Roberts officiating. Burial will be in the Parkview Cemetery.
