Ernest H. Grubb, Jr., 68, formerly of White Hall, MD, died Friday, June 17, 2005. He was the husband of Nancy L. (Walker) Grubb, to whom he was married 47 years. Funeral Monday, June 20, 2005, at J.J. Hartensteim Mortuary, New Freedom, Rev. Thomas D. Bellis officiating, with Masonic Rites by Charity Lodge 134 Ancient, Free and Accepted Masons Sunday. Interment in Bethlehem Steltz Cemetery. Born May 21, 1937, in Baltimore County, MD, he was the son of the late Ernest H. and Thelma E. (Rosier) Grubb, Sr. Mr. Grubb was employed by Chesapeake Fiber Packaging, Cockeysville, MD, for 42 years, retiring in May of 1999. He was a member and former council member of Bethlehem Steltz Reformed Church, Glen Rock, and a 50 year life member and former director of Hereford (MD) Volunteer Fire Company. He was also a member of Charity Lodge 134 Ancient, Free and Accepted Masons, Parkton, MD; Order of the Eastern Star Chapter 42, Parkton, Md.; Bonnie Blink Daylight Lodge 1, Hunt Valley, MD; Tall Cedars of Lebanon York Forest 30; Loyal Order of Moose Lodge 227, Hanover; American Legion Post 256, Parkton, MD; and Jefferson Sportsmen's Association. He was an avid hunter and enjoyed target shooting. In addition to his wife, Mr. Grubb is survived by two daughters, Roxanne S. Hostetter and her husband, Gary, Jr. of New Freedom, and Donna F. Fowble and her husband, Glen of Freeland, MD; and four granddaughters, Kelly and Stephanie Hostetter and Brittany and Courtney Fowble. [York Daily Record]
