Patricia Ann Lunz Beatty, affectionately known as "Pat", was born on February 27, 1941 to Conrad and Ethel (Chronister) Lunz in York. She departed this life on June 25, 2005 at 8 a.m. at her home. Pat received her formal education in the York City School District. She graduated from William Penn Senior High School in 1960. Pat worked at A. Michael St. Peters, Shadowfax and York City Schools and also at the Crispus Attucks Senior Center. With her love of children, she was a foster parent as well as a volunteer at Kays Reflections. She retired from the Mission Home Ministries in October 2004. She was a member of Believers Fellowship of York. Pat met and married Harold R. Beatty on May 8, 1965 who preceded her in death on August 1, 1997. From this union, five children were born: Barton A. Beatty, Sr., Lorrie L. "Oak" Beatty, Isabell Smith, Holly R. Beatty, and Conrad L. Beatty. In addition to her children, she is also survived by her stepchildren: Harold R. Beatty, Jr., Karen Smallwood, Susan BeattyPalmer, Keith Beatty, Sr., Beverly Beatty-Wilson, Cathy Banks, and Robin Beatty-Smith. Pat has 22 grandchildren, 30 step-grandchildren and over 50 great grandchildren; two sisters, Connie M. Reichardt of Dover, DE and Carol Baublitz of Andover, PA; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Funeral Thursday at Believers Fellowship of York, York, Rev. Larry Tucker officiating.
