Troupier A. (Becker) Hockensmith, 92, died at 3:31 a.m. on Monday, June 27, 2005, at Memorial Hospital, York. She was the wife of John F. Hockensmith, with whom she celebrated their 74th wedding anniversary on April 25. Funeral Friday, July 1, 2005, at Workinger-Semmel Funeral Home and Crematorium, York. Burial in Mt. Rose Cemetery. Mrs. Hockensmith was born March 30, 1913, in York. She was the daughter of the late Austin Edgar and Alvina May (Wise) Becker. Mrs. Hockensmith was a homemaker. In addition to her husband, she is survived by one daughter, Patricia D. Hose of Melbourne, FL; one son, Terry R. Hockensmith of North Warren; four grandchildren; two greatgrandchildren; one great-greatgrandson; and one sister, Rosie Kohr of York. [York Daily Record]
