Miss Bessie M. Peaco, 62, died Tuesday, June 28, 2005, at 5:03 p.m. in the York Hospital. Born August 1, 1942, in Fawn Grove, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Peaco and Hazel Fells. Miss Peaco worked for York International, retiring after 27 years of service. She was a member of the Friendship Baptist Church where she served as an usher. Surviving are one daughter, Marlo Lynn Peaco of York; one grandson, Kelvin; and one granddaughter, Elaisha; five sisters, Della Haines, Helen Martin, Barbara Williams, Patricia Lawrence and Belinda Fells, all of York; four brothers, Lewis Peaco of Orlando, FL, William Peaco of Aberdeen, MD, and Donald Fells and Larry Fells, both of York; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by one sister, Anna Fells. Funeral Saturday, July 2, 2005, at Friendship Baptist Church, York, Rev. Melvin R. Baber officiating. Burial in Mount Rose Cemetery.
