DANNY W. CHRISTLIEB SR., 68, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Wednesday, July 10, 2013. Born April 28, 1945, in Fort Wayne, he was a son of the late Harry L. and Rosella J. (Nickols) Christ lieb. He served in the U.S. Army during Vietnam. He later worked as a mechanic for Nipsco. He was a charter member of the Fort Wayne Street Rod Association, a 765 member, and enjoyed art. Surviving family include his wife, Linda J. (Wonderly); sons, Danny W. (JoAnn) Christlieb Jr. and Robert L. Christlieb; four grandchildren; and brother, Thomas E. (Roberta) Christlieb. He was also preceded in passing by a brother, Larry. Funeral service is 1:30 p.m. Saturday, July 13, 2013, at Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Home for Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Road, Fort Wayne, with visitation one hour prior. Visitation also from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, July 12, 2013, at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Turnstone or Heartland Hospice. Burial in Prairie Grove Cemetery.
