He was born in Lawrence and was the son of the late Joseph Azar Najem and Eva (Said) Najem. He was raised and educated in Lawrence and was a graduate of Lawrence High School class of 1938.
Arthur was a member of St. George Orthodox Church. He enjoyed all aspects of being outdoors - gardening, camping, fishing, and hunting. He was a member of Andover Sportsmen's Club, Andover/No. Andover YMCA, American Legion Post 122. He also enjoyed cooking, baking, and spending time with his family. He will be deeply missed.
Arthur was predeceased by his siblings, sisters Adele, Florence, Irene and Agnes and his brother George.
Interment at United Lebanese Cemetery, Lawrence.
