Billie Lucke 76, of El Paso, TX, was called home by God on, July 16, 2010. She was born in Alamogordo, N.M. on June 5, 1934 to Andrew and Viola Elkins. Billie graduated from Ysleta High School and was married to Herbert Lucke on March 31, 1952. Billie was an active member of Montwood Church of Christ and an inspiration to many because of her service and devotion to God and family. She was survived by her husband of 58 years, children; Rick and Terri (Lucke) Kirkpatrick, Rob and Rhonda (Lucke) Roark, Don and Tammy Lucke. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild, two brothers and two sisters. A viewing will be held from 4:00-8:00 pm on Monday, July 19, 2010 at Hillcrest Funeral Home-Carolina. There will be a family graveside service at Ft. Bliss Cemetery on Tuesday, July 20, 2010 at 9:00 am, followed by a Celebration of life for Billie at Montwood Church of Christ at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to the charity of your choice.
