Marvin Dean Faith, 87 was born to Alec M. and Mary A. Joyner Faith on November 5, 1925 in Camden, Arkansas and passed away on July 10, 2013 at his home in Searcy, Arkansas.

He was a real Estate Broker and owner of M. D. Faith Real Estate in Searcy. He was a former Methodist Minister and was member of Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Searcy. He was a member of the Army Air Corps, serving in World War II, joining at the age of 17 years old. He flew over 34 missions and was based out of London, England. He loved flowers especially Iris's, hybridizing 32 Louisiana Iris, winning several wards including the Mary Sword Debalion Award, Marie Callier Award, and the Betty Emmons Memorial Service Award.

He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. He had a great thirst for knowledge all if his life. His strong faith and knowledge of the Bible was his guide for life.

He is preceded in death by his parents and a brother James Alec Faith.

He is survived by his wife of 67 years June Marie Hubach Faith, a son Marvin James Faith of Charlotte, North Carolina, a daughter Elizabeth Ann Faith Howell (Gary) of Tyler, Texas, five grandchildren, Jane Faith Brown, Adam Christopher Epperson, Gregory Andrew Epperson, Sarah Marie Faith, Cristin Leigh Faith, two step-grandchildren Melissa Williamson, Christopher Howell, four great-grandchildren, other relatives and many friends.

In lieu of flowers the family request donations to the American Iris Society, the Cumberland Presbyterian Church of Searcy, or American Cancer Society
