James Madison Boling. He was born Dec. 25, 1858 in Shiloh, Rutherford County, Tennessee. He has a twin sister named Mary Maude Boling. Their parents died before the 1860 census and James did not know their names. He married Martha J. Penley on Aug 21, 1881 and they had a daughter named Bernice Bivian Boling. Martha died in 1885. James then married Emma Greer on Nov. 27, 1888 and they had a son named James Iver Boling. Emma died Sept 23, 1891. He then married Mary Beaufort (DeWeese).They had four children named Vida Grace, Francis Charles, Hazel Marie, and Benjamin Cassel Boling (who is also buried at the same cemetery.) James died May 27, 1931 in Liberal, Seward County, Kansas and is also buried there.
