MRS SARAH GRIFFITHS THOMAS, wife of Henry Thomas, died recently at her home 1102 Muriel st., Southside. She was a member of the Welsh Baptist Church in Chatham st., Tonoloco tribe 161, Independent Order of Red Men, Fort Pitt circle No. 711, Foresters of America and Mary H. Pickering lodge, Daughters of St. George. Besides her husband, a son, Charles Thomas of Pittsburgh; three daughters, Mrs. Ann Bainbridge, Mrs. Thomas Meade and Mrs. Hopkin James; three sisters, Mrs. William Phillips of Pittsburgh, Mrs. L. Lewis of Washington, Pa., Mrs. J. Reynolds of Cambridge, O.; and a brother, John Thomas of Wales, survive.
(I think "brother John Thomas of Wales" should be John Griffiths of Wales.)
Sarah Griffiths Thomas' sister Mrs. William Phillips is listed as Hannah Griffiths Rogers on her Soc. Sec. record May 1939.
