PIQUA - Daisy Bingham, 79, of 10258 Kaser Road, passed away Wednesday, July 10, 2013, at 11 a.m. at the Kindred Hospital in Dayton.
She was born on July 16, 1933, in Bell County, Ky., the daughter of the late Perry and Elizabeth (Hensley) Messer. On Sept. 29, 1947, she married Charles Bingham, who survives along with four children.
Son, David Bingham and his wife, Karen, of Piqua, daughters, Mrs. Richard (Vonda) Allen, of Piqua, Mrs. David (Carolyn) Jones and Mrs. Dale (Bonnie) Pohlschneider, both of Sidney; 12 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and one sister, Myrtle James of Jefferson, Va. survive.
She was preceded in death by four brothers and one sister.
Mrs.Bingham was homemaker who loved caring for children, she enjoyed spending time in her yard working with her flowers and her favorite time of year was at Christmas and decorating with all of the colorful lights. Daisy was a faithful member of the Glory Bound Penticostal Church of God in Sidney.
Funeral services will be held Monday, July 15, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. from the Cromes Funeral Home, Sidney, with Pastor. Doug Howard officiating.
Burial will be at Beechwood Cemetery in Lockington.
The family will receive friends on Sunday from 1 to 4 p.m. at Cromes Funeral Home, 302 S. Main Ave.
The family suggest that memorials may be made to St.Judes Children's Hospital in memory of Daisy Bingham. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
