Ada was born July 26, 1919 in Anson County, NC a son of the late Benjamin F. and Nolie Walters Taylor. She was a member of Hopewell United Methodist Church.

Surviving are her children, Becky Allen, Sybile (Earl) Williams, Faye (James) Yates and Truett (Michele) Wright all of Polkton, Peggy (Tony) Hildreth and Phyllis (Wayne) Pope both of Ansonville; 9 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George Park Wright and by her siblings.
