Bill A. Adams, 74, Galveston, passed away at 5:40 a.m. Thursday, July 11, 2013, at Golden Living Sycamore Village in Kokomo. Bill was born Jan. 2, 1939, to Cecil and Gladys Adams. On Dec. 19, 1964, in Flora, he married Joyce (Burton) Adams, who preceded him in death just one week ago.

He owned and operated Adams Heating and Plumbing in Galveston for many years. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Flora and he loved collecting things. Bill also served in the National Guard. He is survived by a son, Mike W. and his wife Mckay Adams, Young America; granddaughter, Brandi (David) Garside, Florida; brother, Charlie (Terri) Adams, Darlington; and sister-in-law, Judy Adams, Westfield.
He was preceded in death by his parents; loving wife, Joyce; and one brother, Tom Adams.

Private family services will be at Ever Rest Memorial Park Cemetery in Logansport Monday, with the Rev. Warren Purcell officiating. No public visitation is planned.
