Michael ZAMZOW Obituary

MICHAEL ZAMZOW Michael David Zamzow was born May 14, 1956, in Bakersfield, Calif., and died July 10, 2013. He is survived by his wife, Victoria, his two sons Joshua and Robert, his step-daughters Misti Noel and Mindi Smith and 7 grandchildren, ages 1-21. Mike was a sportsman. He loved to fish and to shoot, and was a big supporter of gun rights. His favorite sport was NASCAR racing (go Tony Stewart). Anyone who knew Mike knew exactly what he would be doing on the weekend at race time. He loved popsicles and Samuel Adams (although not at the same time). His all time favorite movie was "The Outlaw Josie Wales." Mike and Victoria met at the Department of Human Services where they both worked. They married September 15, 1995, and moved to Pahrump Nov. 2011, to be near family. After the move, Mike continued to work for Trans West Security and Chevron USA. He was preceded in death by his mother Jewel, stepfather Orin Murphy (Pop), and his brother Steven. He leaves behind his sister, Cindy Rea and half-brother Rick Zamzow. He was deeply loved and will be missed by many. Rest in peace Mike! Memorial services will be held Saturday, July 20, 1:00 P.M. at Trinity Assembly of God, 750 Big 5 Road, Pahrump.
