Obituary:
Eudora Albertie Pigott Trosclair passed away on June 30, 2013 at the age of 78. She was born in Tylertown, Mississippi and resided in Metairie, Louisiana for over 56 years.
She is preceded in death by her husband, of 60 years, Willard Joseph Trosclair; her parents, Arthur Eli Pigott and Mary Etta Coney Pigott; and one brother, Lewis Murphy Pigott.
She is survived by a son, Willard Trosclair Jr.; a daughter, Darlene Trosclair; a granddaughter, Rachael Trosclair; and a grandson-in-law to be, Jeffery Duvall. She is also survived by numerous other family members and many friends as special as family.
She was a parishioner of St. Lawrence the Martyr Catholic Church of Kenner, Louisiana; and retired from the Jefferson Parish School Board as well as receptionist from the Louisiana Superdome's Management Office.
Eudora will be remembered as the loving matriarch of her family; she never met a stranger; and always attended her family's activities and events. We will miss her special traits that were passed on to many family members and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Blvd., near Clearview Pkwy. in Metairie, LA on Friday evening, July 5, 2013 beginning at 4:00 PM with a Funeral Mass to follow at 7:00 PM in Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home's Chapel.
There will be additional visitation at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home on Saturday July 6, 2013 from 8:00 AM until 10:00 AM.
Graveside services and interment will be at Knoxo Cemetery in Tylertown, MS on Saturday, July 6, 2013 at 1:00 PM.
