Shirley was born on Aug 2, 1937 to George Alma and Alice Nevonie Snyder Acocks. She grew up in Salt Lake City and attended Granite High School. She was very artistic and enjoyed astrology.
Shirley was raised by her Uncle Clarence Henry Acocks and Aunt Geneve Parsons Acocks from age 9.
Buried with the ashes of grandson Roman Dee Ballard on July 16, 2013.
There was a private family service. Viewing was at 10:00 with a graveside service following at 11:00.
