Edith Sophia, 57, died at 10 am Tuesday in Midland Hospital. She had been admitted to the hospital at 7;15 am today.
Born February 9, 1899, in Cumberland, MD., Mrs Siebert had lived in Midland for 45 years. She was a member of St John's Lutheran Church. Surviving besides her husband are three sons, George, Earl, and Raymond Siebert, all of Larkin Township; two daughters, Mrs Frank Irwin of Bay City, and Mrs William Arts of Sanford; two brothers Adam Draves of Midland and George Draves of Imlay City; four sisters, Mrs Otto Bensch, Lincoln Twp., Mrs William Hines of Midland, Mrs Joseph Stapish of Detroit, and Mrs Edward Schneider of Midland; and 13 grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2 pm Friday from St John's with the Rev. G. Walter Schoedel officiating. Burial will be in Midland Cemetery. Friends may call at the Wilson Funeral Home until 11 am Friday and at the church from 1 pm until the time of service.
