Merry Bracey (1781-1840) was the son of William Bracey (1728-1825) and Eugenia Singleton Bracey (1769-1799).

Wife: Elcie (Alice) Moore (1787-1835), daughter of Col. Isham Moore (1746-1809) and Nancy Ann Singleton Moore (1750-1798).

Served as an officer of the Hinds County, Mississippi, Court.
