Mrs. J.H. Gonder

Mrs. Eliza Sterrett-Gonder , wife of the late J.H. Gonder of 1437 Van Buren, died early Saturday in a local hospital following an extended illness.

She was born in Muskingum county, Ohio, August 4, 1862, and came to Topeka in 1888 as a bride. She was a member of WTK club and Golden Rule club of Topeka. Mr. Gonder before his death ten years ago, was associated with the Davis Mercantile Co.

Survivors are a brother, E.B. Sterrett; a niece, Mrs. Louise France, and a nephew, George Sterett of Zanesville, O.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Wall-Diffenderfer's mortuary, with burial in Mount Hope cemetery.
