Mr. Adams died January 29, 2001. Born in Darlington County, he was the son of the late Hadley and Verona Beatrice Reid Adams. Mr. Adams was retired from Jack's Cookies.
Survivors include one son, Eric (Melody) Adams of Florence; four brothers, David H. (Earlene) Adams of Florence, Alvious J. "Al" (Penny) Adams of Hartsville, William H. "Billy" (Diane) Adams of Silver Springs, Md., and G. Ray (Ernestine) Adams of Darlington; one sister, Beatrice Adams (James) Cook of Florence; and one granddaughter, Alexis Nicole Adams of Florence.
