Ray Tackitt, 65, of 806 West Market St., Christopher, died Monday at 10:30 a.m. in the Franklin Hospital, Benton.
He was born in Marion, on Nov. 30, 1912 to Robert and Alta Furlow Tackitt.
He is survived by his wife Geneva; one son, Duane of Great Lakes; one daughter, Carolyn Cummins of Evansville, Ind.; five grandchildren; one brother, Roy Lee Tackitt, Cooksville, Tenn.; and four sisters, Shirley Ann Catasso, Lockport; Flora Belle Dobbins, Lockport; Feme Puckett, Clinton, Mo.; and Bula Higgenson, Christopher.
One brother and one sister preceded him in death.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday in the Gilbert Funeral Home, Christopher. Burial will be in the Harrison Cemetery. Friends may call after 6 p.m. today at the Gilbert Funeral Home.
