Mrs. Evans, who lived at 3945 S Fox St., Englewood, died tuesday in Porter Hospital after a long illness. She was 78.
Born Jan. 8, 1873 in Minneapolis, Minn. Mrs. Evans lived in Chicago, Ill., from 1898 until 1912, when she moved to Boise, Idaho. In 1918 she came to Denver and moved to Englewood the following year.
Surviving are a daughter, Miss Gladys M. Evans of Englewood, for 27 years cashier of the Western Seed Co., a son, Herbert L. Evans of Los Angeles, Calif; two sisters, Mrs. Blanche Kinney, Mrs. Della Coulter, both of Seatle; six grandchildren and eight great-grand-children.
