Funeral for Mrs. Carrie Myrtle Rankin, 81, who died Monday in a local hospital, will be Friday at 1:30 p.m. at Miller and Tracey chapel. Interment will be in Riverview Cemetery.
Mrs. Rankin lived at 2187 NW Overton St. She was born Dec. 25th, 1887, in Iowa. A resident of Portland for 53 years, she belonged to East Side Circle, No. 853, Neighbors of Woodcraft.
She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Rita Chrysty of Portland.
