Ella Whytsell Boatright, 89, of Akron, Ohio, formerly of Mt. Zion,

died Monday, July 19, 1999, in Pebble Creek Nursing Center, Akron.

She was born in Altizer, the daughter of the late George and Mini

Starcher Whytsell. She was a member of Mt. Zion United Methodist

Church and was a homemaker.

Surviving are three step-daughters, Leola Shillingburg and Olena

Hopkins, both of Akron, and Wanda Stone of Hemingway, S.C., and three

step-sons, Hildreth Boatright of Belpre, Ohio, Howard Boatright of

Akron and Ardell Boatright of Marshall, Ill.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Boatright in 1983;

one sister, Genevieve Holmes; and four brothers, Edwin, Fred, Paul

and George Whytsell, Jr.

Services were held at Stump Funeral Home, Arnoldsburg, with Rev.

Richard Swearingen officiating. Burial was in Mt. Zion Cemetery.
